We Are Here

We are back in Ukraine.  We don't have our SDA appointment for a few days.  It wasn't feasable to change our flight schedule to accommodate the change that happened here, so we are here early.  We are praying all goes well as this will be our third and final appointment.  We would ask for your prayers that God's will be done and we would find our daughter.

This statue is in Kiev and it is like our Statue of Liberty. 


That's all I have for today.  Gary and I have decided that we are not much on travelling.  Staying home and living the simple life is where we want to be when God gets through with us here.

    Tina, there is nothing wrong with being comfortable in your own home. I do pray that God would lead you to your daughter and you all would get back home quickly and safely.

    I was just reading Matthew 7:7-11 this morning and it applies here.

      Thanks Kelly. I love this verse - ask, seek and knock. We just want to follow God's will in all of this and if it is not sweet girl then I know He will show us who He brought us here for.

    Am I behind? Are you not able to get the girl you wanted after all?

      You are not behind. It is still up in the air about our girl and she has a little brother. Thank you for asking. We hope to post good news soon. This waiting is so hard.

      Okay good - i thought I had missed something drastic! Still hoping and praying that all will work out - actually I know it will when we pray "Thy will be done...". The waiting is the worst - way worse than having a baby forsure. :)

    I feel much comfortable at home too, and around my family. I pray for you and your stay in Ukraine. Wow, you have many emotional things going on in your life. Just finalized you adoption of two boys, and here you are in Ukraine :) God Bless you
