Patience

There is really nothing new to write about today.  It is just the same thing over and over and over again.  Insanity.  Caleb is still in the hospital and no one knows anything.  Peyton is still all smiles when we get there and we enjoy our time with her and her friends.  Since it is the weekend we can see her anytime but we try to only stay an hour each time.  The kids start getting rowdy after a while and that is usually our cue to go.  The hitting with sticks and fists, choking with shoe strings and pulling hair just makes us so sad for them.  They all definitely know their pecking order and who to avoid.

Please say a prayer for us as this 10 day wait is definitely a struggle.  We know God is in control and we are trying to stay as positive as we can.

Peyton and Mikolya

Happy girl.  Doesn't she look so peaceful?

Looking in my translating book for
what I am trying to say.  She always listens
so intently.  Such a smart girl.

Peyton and mama

Peyton's dom - where she sleeps and also
they have some of their classes
 in this buliding.

Peyton and her friends and that is Peter
behind doing the bunny ears.

This is Peter and oh how he would
thrive with a mama and papa.

  1. Oh, Tina...I know you just want to be done and get home! Soon you'll all be home together. I'll be praying for Caleb to get out of the hospital.

It's so sad to hear about the survival behaviors of the children in the orphanage. Just breaks my heart.

You're almost done. Hang in there!

  2. Peyton looks really happy. Those kids are taken with you, Tina, can you see that? They are all very relaxed in your presence. Your time there is for your kids, but there's more to this story.

Me & Patience, not so much, so I understand how hard it must be. Praying for you each day.

    Blessings, Kelly
