Here are some random pictures from Christmas. Caleb was so excited and happy about all of his gifts. Peyton seemed to like some of her gifts but was a little overwhelmed at the two family parties away from home. She shuts down in large crowds and around people that she hasn't seen very often, especially men, so it was hard to get her to smile. I'm also gonna have to work with her on how to accept a gift. She just shows very little emotion and I think that she is thankful but just doesn't know how to express it. Since she is so shy it is hard to get her to say thank you to the giver. So many things to teach and learn. I have come to realize I can't assume things with her. All that aside, she is doing so well for someone that chose to leave everything she knew just 2 short months ago.
Enjoy the pictures and I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Kids look happy:) I was raised in a family, but I have issues showing emotions. I don't like big crowds, and I don't like attention I am getting when I am opening my presents. I prefer to open my presents on my own :) when no-one is looking. I think because we were poor and never get to have presents, especially from non family members, I still don't know how to react, and prefer not to have B-day parties for myself. I am getting better, and my someday I will celebrate my B'day, and will enjoy opening my presents when others are watching:) I think that she doesn't' know how to react to presents, she never had them. It will take time. Maybe let her open presents on her own, in her room?! Let her get use to getting presents :) Our boys when they came home, if someone would give them presents or something, they would just take it and not say thank you, sometimes they still do that. We are working on it:)
