These Are The Words I Would Say

Three in the morning,
And I'm still awake,
So I picked up a pen and a page,
And I started writing,
Just what I'd say,
If we were face to face,
I'd tell you just what you mean to me,
I'd tell you these simple truths,
Be strong in the Lord and,
Never give up hope,
You're going to do great things,
I already know,
God's got His hand on you so,
Don't live life in fear,
Forgive and forget,
But don't forget why you're here,
Take your time and pray,
These are the words I would say.

Sidewalk Prophets - The Words I Would Say

In my two prior posts I asked for prayer for sweet girl and came to the realization that I had to let go because God has it under control. Well, God knew I would be getting the news I got last week about her situation and that must be why I felt so strongly that I needed to ask for prayer for her.  I can't share here what has transpired because I never know who is reading.   Normally it would have thrown me for a loop but God is good isn't He!!!  He gave me such a peace about it all and I am sure He is preparing the way.   If I could talk to her right now I would tell her to be strong, don't give up hope and pray to the One and Only Savior who is going to bring us through all of this.  Asking for prayers for this sweet girl who must be wondering how we will find her.

  5. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I know it is so tough waiting, even when we know God's timing is perfect. It broke my heart to think about our daughter having to spend even one extra day at her orphanage.
