One Year Ago

One year ago today we submitted our paperwork to the SDA for the first time (this adoption). We were so excited and looking forward to getting our travel date. But 4 weeks later we found out that we had one document that was not quite right and we were given a new submission date. Of course God was in all the details and as much as we hated the wait we now look back and know why we had to wait. Our kids would not have been available if we would have travelled in April or May. So if you have something going on in your life right now and you are wondering why, or you are growing weary in the waiting, let me reassure you that God's got it and His timing is perfect.

Enjoy the pictures from our time spent at home.  We have had lots of snow and school has been out.

  1. Yep, He sure does! He's totally got it. I always forget that. The pics of the kids in the snow look so fun! Around here we typically just have cold weather without the snow. LAME.

  2. Tina, would you believe we had snow in Tucson!? It was amazing and so lovely. You are absolutely right, God's timing is impeccable. God is a slow-cooker and we live in a microwave society.

Blessings from our clan to yours. Kelly
